Average temp

what temp? cpu? gpu?
cpu should stay under 55C in full load preferably. it gets dangerous around 70C
gpu can get as high as 60-70C and be just fine. my 7800gt had a "core slowdown" temp of 115C and my 7900gtx is rated at 110C. of course, my 7800gt would idle at 38-48C (depending on the season) and my 7900gtx is currently at 43C.
what are your temps though?
lol which reminds me one time i accidentally stopped the fan on my 7800gt's nv silencer and it would idle at around 50C and never went above 72C in full load lol.

I'd say an average of 30-35C Idle, since my old Athlon 64 3200+ ran idle ar around 25-30C.

well id worry less about the gpu because you arent the one that puts the heatsink on. if its overheating it isnt your fault and they'll replace it. btw thats a very good temp. my dual core runs much warmer... of course its a dual core.
during the winter i get around 32-35 and summer is 35-40
gonna take of the IHS soon (once im done building my uncles computer and probably after i get a new PSU) and see if my temps get any better... normally an decrease of 5-10C will occurr with this mod.
