AVG 8 Virus Vault

Hi guys, AVG doesn't come with an idiots guide on how to use it.
Hands up, I am an idiot!
it's scanned and yesterday came up with some warnings. Todays after a download from last night it's come up with a trojan that it's put in the virus vault.. Do I delete the virus vault or does AVG take care of everything? I'm not quite sure what my part is to play after the scan.
Also i'm presuming it only scans when your computer is on. Obviously I cant guarentee my comp will be on at the same time of day to scan.

Regarding the virus in the vault, it is quarantined and safe. AVG default settings is to automatically delete files in the vault after 30 days or if like me, delete it manually straight away.

Under "Tools", "Advanced Settings" you can scroll down to "Schedules", "Scheduled Scan" and choose whatever option suits you. I personally have unticked the "Enable" and choose to scan when I want to.
If you really want to scan every day but not knowing when the computer will be switched on then choose "Action based" and set a time after bootup to do it.

You have the "resident Shield" running so it should catch anything in real time.

Everything in the Virus Vault is safe/quarantined, and if you want it back (just in case it is a false positive), you can.
