memory Member Jan 25, 2007 #1 I have AVG Internet Security 7.5 installed on my system and everytime I turn my system on, AVG starts to scan automatically. Is there a way to change this? I looked around but couldn't find anything.

Kesava Active Member Mar 7, 2008 #2 go to start->run and type msconfig. then click on the startup tab. you should find avg there. uncheck it and it wont start when windows loads up

He does'nt want to disable AVG just not to scan on startup. Open AVG Control Centre, press F8, click on Startup Tab and make sure Scan System Areas is unticked.
