AVG Internet Security?

I was going to buy AVG Internet security but figured I might as well ask about it first. Im looking for an Internet Security package which would include Anti Virus, Spyware, and spam + firewall. My limit is about 60 dollars american. Is AVG goof for me or no? If not any other suggestions? So far all i've heard is steer clear from norton.
 
Stay away from Norton and Mcafee..er, however you spell that one...get Fix-It utilities pro. It comes with 3 licences for 3 computers (some even have rebates and in the end its free!) has sooooooooo many things (including anti-spy/virus---updated 2 times a day!) that you will not possible be able to do them all in 1 and 1/2 days!
 
Sounds good but does it have anything to prevent infection like a firewall? Seems like it can heal my computer really well but not prevent the infections as well.
 
You can get AVAST for free it is comprehensive and includes numerous effective measures for AV/spyware and has a firewall.

Once you register a code will be emailed to you, you right click on the icon in your tray, go to "about avast" click on liscense key and enter the code, and voila, free AV/Firewall/Anti-Spyware, it is an excellent program, as good if not better and it is free.
 
I use AVG Free and Comodo Firewall. Comodo also has an AntiVirus. Both are excellent, they are free, and you can find them here :)
