I'm currently running Mal-Bytes Premium. Do I also need a anti-virus running on my computer also?

Why I'm asking this is because my AVG protection has just expired and as of now have no anti-virus program running.

Since you are running Malwarebytes paid, you really don't want to be running a paid antivirus program. It wouldn't hurt to actually install a free AV such as Avast. AVG tends to be malware in itself. AVG secure search is flagged by malware programs. Malwarebytes is a good program but nothing is full proof, always have a backup.
