When ever I have an AVI file and play it, I only hear the sound and can't actually see the video, why is this and what how can I fix it? I'm using Windows Media Player.

Thanks,
John

as sai before on this forum in a big debate somewhere, AVI is just a carrier for an actual video typ, like DivX or XVid, you should start by downloading DivX and XVid as they are most common.... freely available, just google it.

You've got to find the correct codec that the video is using.

How do I do that, becasue after you mentioned that it said "error downloading codecs"
