what is a good graphics card for me?

I am not an intense gamer but i would like to have the option of playing the latest games now and then.
I dont have alot of money to spend on one either.

If you can afford the 8800GT, that would be a great choice. The 3850 would also be a great card if the 8800GT is a bit out of your price range.

Prices of computer components in the UK are pretty damn high. Theres a good chance the 8800GT may be out of his price range unless he's planning on dropping a good bit of money on a gpu.

According to Scan.co.uk, the 8800gt's are priced the same as ours. For the performance, that's pretty cheap. But like omega said, the 3850's are great cards as well, and quite abit cheaper.

i'm not sure for prices over there, but the HD2900 512mb can still handle any current game and is not a slap in the wallet

i never shop in UK sites, so here is one on newegg if it helps any so you can see the specs
