B&W2 video card

I bought a Radon 9600 w/ SMARTSHADER 2.1, but when I loaded B&W2 it said it could not do some 3d function. I looked on the box and it said I needed a 64mb card with 1.1 pixel shader. I have 256mb so thats not the problem. I assumed that since smartshader was supposed to be better that it would work. Am I wrong or did I do something wrong. Help me!

It's backwards compatible, 2.1 will support 1.1, that shouldn't be the rpoblem.

Possibly re-install the game?

Go to windows System Information-DirectX Diagnostic-Display, make sure that Direct Draw, Direct 3D and AGP Texture are enabled, then go to Display settings and make sure that Hardware Acceleration is on full

Plus have you loaded the latest drivers

yup.....forgot to install the driver.....

Lol did the same with my 6600 and it ran like crap till i realized I hadn't downloaded the drivers

I got the game working but in someplaces its just black. What is that and how can I fix it or would I have to get another video card.
