Background Trouble

Somethin happened to my computer and i can't change my background image. when i open the properties it shows the list of backgrounds i can choose from but i can't actually click on them. it's like idle. just wonderin if anyone could help me out here. i'm thinkin that i might have deleted somethin that was critical for it to work but idk. thanx.

What type of image is on there now? The only time my computer did that to me was when I had a virus, my Iexplorer.exe file was shortly after that

it would just show the default background colors that were applied with the different taskbar styles and what not. It's okay though I just ran the reboot disk and whiped out my computer anyway. I think it did have a virus and I couldn't get rid of it. Anyway, problem solved, but thanks for your advice.
