Backing Up Game

I was trying to back up a game I have (Medal Of Honor Pacific Assault) and Nero wouldn't let me make a copy of it because it said it was copyrighted material. I have a nasty habit of scratching or losing my CD's so I wanted to back them up. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

I know what you mean... I tried to make some copies of my games to protect them but they wont run due to copy protections. Obviously, there are some ways to get around this, but we're not allowed to speak of them here. Plus it can be a major pain...

I did it with quake 4 and it works, so now after I install my file from quake 4 I still have it. I use nero.
