backs space lag

ok i use my computer for every day uses such as school work but when i type something then try to detele it the computer will lag hard core it takes like 10 mins to detele a sentence does anyone know why

probably because you only have 256Mb of ram....adding another stick of 256 which as you know will give you 512mb of ram should make it faster.

You really think RAM is the problem? I guess it can make sense....but 256 would do that?

Well i couldnt say for sure its because of it only having 256mb of ram but it used to do the exact same thing on my system when i had only 256Mb of ram...i would be typing away then all of a sudden the text wouldnt appear on the screen then it would quickly

I think he's right, we had an older computer in the house, and it only had that amount of RAM, and I'm pretty sure it did the same thing, we put another 256 and it never did it again.
