Backup computer

I have two computers but one doesn't work to well it is full of virus that i can't get off. so what i want to do is backup my new one and load the backup file on the older one. The new one have windows xp but the older one is design for 98. will this work?

It might work and might not. If it works, it wont work so well because if the hardware platform is uber-different then things are just gonna be wierd. Your best approach in doing this would be to use a drive imaging type of program

well the only problem is it has either virus or strong AD ware on it because when i try to run my AD-Aware SR it freeze it say i have to turn things off. Is there something i can do.

Use a different scanner like Spybot
