Bad Company Quits out?

Hi all,

I've been playing a bit of BF:BC2 lately. But, every once in a while, the game just quits out, for no reason. There is no error, no sign of something going wrong, it just plain and simple completely quits out. I am running 7 Professional, by the way. And after it quits out, I can just start it back up just fine, no problem and nothing in the game implies there was an error. There is no pattern as far as I can see to when it happens. And it doesn't happen extremely often either, it's still by far more than playable. It's just annoying.

Has anyone else seen anything like this?
 
Really???? The game is buggy in every aspect, from the menu to unloading 10 bullets into a guy.

yes, the "game" quits on me as well, well it used to, I've not played it for weeks and I am won't play it ever again, can't even resell it :/

I used to have this problem with another game, I think running as an Admin and making sure the firewall settings were correct fixed it. Not sure if that's the case here, though.

MW2 called, they want your "skill" back.
 
That happened to me in the first week but now it's all fine. There's barely any glitches in the game play now, only some minor graphical glitches here and there.

I get a crosshair every time, come on, even 10 shots to leg or arm should bring a guy down.

Nervermind, I'll get over the 35 quid I spent on total BS.
About the game being funny, it happens a lot on Win7.
 
I get booted from online play as well, and noticed that EA says they are addressing the connection issues. I haven't had time to get down to it, but this weekend I bet I will

I haven't played the full PC version yet, but I played the beta and I never experienced shooting/aiming problems.. The connection issues are a different story, since they probably weren't expecting this many people on the PC version. Give it time, the game has been out for...how many weeks?

But thats not realy good enough is it? such a big company as EA...all the developing team they have and still they have not sorted out simple issues that we had back in BETA!!!!

It should not have been released in that state.

Fail game,not worth the time....luckily for me i got my money back.
 
The gameplay itself is great. The net code for MP is buggy as all hell. I bet it has to do with load balancing or DRM shit with EA...

I like the game play a lot better than MW2...but the bugs, it kills the game.:mad:
 
Maybe the Admin thing will work.
I'm thinking that the game is giving you small little patches that are too minor to have to load out of game, but enough to make Windows feel insecure (windows has self-confidence issues, I tried sending mine to counseling, but that never works).

The game should not need to run as root, and if it does that is just bad design by the developers.
 
Well then.... ha, guess I'm not alone here. I'll tough it out and hope the bugs go away in time.
As for BFBC2 vs MW2, I find Battlefield much more skilled. None of those shitty perks, double g-18's, kill streak rewards... battlefield is more team oriented. And I have yet to come across a hacker :) [or a 7 year old at that].
