bad harddrive?

i got a hard drive and when i got it i relized something. it doesnt have a power connector???? like where the 4 pin connectior should go there isnt one. i have this hd

i dont know if it was supposed to come like this or it just was a faulty? it never got power threw it so do you think newegg would let me return it as faulty?

that could solve it haha..... but then why does my raptor have a 4 pin and the sata power?

because it can be used both ways, most new SATA Harddrives dont have that

on the back of your new hdd you will see a thin black pin about 1inch long that is were you put the power adapter but it has to be a sata connecter
