Bad Power Supply?

I was on my computer last week writing a paper when my computer out of no where shut off. I tried to turn it back on and nothing happened. The light for the cable cord for internet that is plugged in on the back of the computer turns green when plugged in. That is the only power that it has. I cant turn on the computer. I am thinking that the problem is a bad power supply. What does everybody else think?

Well..

It's hard to tell exactly what's wrong, but to me it seems as either a PSU as you have suggested or the motherboard could have gone bust due to something. It's possible that your power supply went wrong and caused your motherboard to go bust as well. However, I dooubt that's the case. Try getting hold of another PSU simply to try.
