From the post "Frozen on Bios Screen" I was able to figure out what was the cause of my own problem. I had a bad RAM stick. The question I now have is I have a MCP61 with 4 slots currently there are (2) 1 Gig and (2) 512 The gig slots are blue and the 512 are tan I do not know if this is any different for operating but I would like to know if I could go up to 4 gig total or do I have to stay at 3? Would it be worth the upgrade? Can the processor handle it ok as well? It is an AMD Athlon 64x2 Dual Core 6000+. So I would purchse 2 more 1 gig ram sticks for an upgrade. Thanks again!
