Bad video card

Hello all,

I just purchased a video card and ram for a computer I had sitting around, figuring itd be nice to have 2 computers. After I assembled it, I immediately did a clean install of Windows XP. Once the system booted up, I did all the drivers and such. I tried playing CS Source on the machine, however, and to my dismay I got a lot of things rendered improperly and frequent lockups. To solve this, I installed SP2 and the 180 Forceware drivers. While at first everythign seemed to be okay; it wasnt, the errors were still there. Next, I tested the RAM using a mem testor, and got 0 errors. To be safe, I also let each RAM stick take turns instide the computer. No matter what, I still get errors. This leads me to believe that
1) Its not getting enough power, or
2) The video card itself is bad.
Any input please!

If you just installed a new video card and memory you didnt need to do a reinstall of windows. Motherboard and hard drive are really the only 2 things that need a new install of windows. You can use this calculator to see if your psu is strong enough...

Is the game up to date?
Are you using any custom content for the game?

I understand that.
But if there is no OS, you do need to put a clean install on.

Erg. At this point idk what it is. Ill test the PSU next.
The calculator says I should only need a 258W PSU... I'm at like, 550 iwth the one I have now.
Hopefully I can aquire a PSU tester in the next couple of days...

Otherwise, idk what else to do..
