Badluck with PSUs!!!!

Hi, before i had the CM Extreme Power Plus 500w, i had an Huntkey 550w i dunno generic PSU. I tried testing the Huntkey by itself, then it had blew up! Ive just bought the CM PSU and this also blew up!!!..... Im so angry at PSUs. I know i had to switch it to 230, but i didnt know the power supply was on. I just hate PSUs now, the manufacturer theselves should have the switch off than on because people might forget about it being on then BOOM!!!.... Now im too lazy and scared to go back in and say this PSU blew up aswell, did any of you guys had trouble with PSUs??
 
You really do have some bad luck with power supplies. Though, none of those are exactly high end. Cooler Masters shouldn't just die though.

I had trouble with the generic 500 watt the came with my case. My Antec TPQ-850 died, but that was because of several brownouts while I was away. I have a 750 watt Corsair for a little while now, and I haven't had the slightest problem.
 
Haha, the first one was poop, but the Coolermaster is great. I believe its my fault i recked it. Since i didnt know the on switch was on then i plugged it to power then yea... I might go with a Corsair, Antec or Silverstone. Also, Australia is limited with brands than other countries so we dont get as good stuff than U.S etc....
