Banned from Black Ops (PC)

I got up this morning wanting to play some black ops, so i opened it up and went into multiplayer and BAM, banned from all servers, i have only been playing combat training and have played 2 matches of ranked online nuke town. Anyone know who to contact about an appeal.

This is a really anoying, as i only got it 2 days ago.

Please help, I can do some single player bot through console and all but that sucks as it is not ranked.
 
I remember when I entered a hacked server on mw2 by accident (its automated servers so obviously by accident) I notified steam straight away and they told me how to reset my account.

Anychance youve been on a hacked server? IE, one where you get put to prestige 10 full rank etc or anything like that?

If not contact steam and see what they say.
 
I don't think so, its a treyarch ban because i am in good standing with my VAC status. I read up on the subject, and apparently I cannot appeal, but what i don't understand is i have just played combat training, and that is on my own and how that affects online i do not know.
 
This is probably an extremely long shot, but your forum age states that you're 13, and this game has an ESRB rating of 18.

I don't have the game myself, but you didn't by any chance have to sign up for an account to play, and maybe put your D.O.B in did you?

Just thought I'd throw that out there. :)

No I didn't do that, though i see were your coming from.

The game itself is not by valve, and as it is a treyarch ban, then it is their fault, but what i don't get is how i got banned from combat training.
 
Its not from valve your correct. It does require steam though. You cannot play the game unless its on steam. Or if it is a pirate copy. Other than that the game 100% uses steam.

Is the copy pirated?
 
Its not pirated, i bought it off steam in their sale when it was £20, as my ban is not from steam they would just tell me to talk to activision. At least i can still play single player zombies + console bots. I have latest update of steam, so not sure if that is the problem, maybe they detected another process on my computer which they thought was wall hack or a aimbot.
 
Try and contact steam, It wont hurt. If not try and contact activision. If youve not been cheating then you will be able to get it working. If you have been cheating then its your own fault.
 
Yeh but no offence but we dont know that for certain. Like we dont know 100% its not pirated. Hopefully it isnt and you dont cheat but we dont know :P


Best bet contact steam or activision. Other than that just play SP.
 
Maybe its a sign from the above that you should start doing some other activities. Like buying some new games perhaps Black Ops 2 will be hopefully out this year
