Battery Operated USB

I've heard that battery operated USB ports exist but I know nothing about them. I guess to help you out, let me explain what I'm doing.

I'm planning on sending up a weather balloon with a payload made out of styrafoam into low earth orbit. I have a USB camera that I don't really care to lose and the means to watch until it reaches 60,000 feet. What I don't have is a USB hub to power the camera. I'm limited to 5 pounds total for the payload so any power source I use has to be light weight.

Is there such an animal? If so, where can I get one.

Thank you in advance for the help.

well look up building a 5v driver. its a very simple set of resistors and pots to get the right current, and it will probably be lighter than any other solution. it takes a small knowledge of soldering but that is easily picked up just reading wikipedia and watching youtube.

you will probably want to power the setup with a few cr123 batteries, or if those aren't long lasting enough for you, AA's. but the cr123's will be better IMO.
