Basicly I want to see this:
XFX 7600GT

VS

XFX 7900GT

Do you guys think it worth waiting to save an other 150$ for the 7900? It seems to be alot of money.

Looking @ specs no big differents... Strange:confused: Am I missing something?

maybe ur cpu defenitly ur pcu ul need a bigger one save ur 150 get a new pcu or a new hard drive ur cpu should be fine i know some one with a p4 3.0 and has a 7800gtx so get a new pcu for shure just as a type u may want a new hard drive after u get ur pcu and ur 7600gt

Personally, I'd save the money and go with the 7600, or possibly an ATI card. Unless I'm mistaking, newegg has some model of the Radeon x850 for about $160 that's more powerful than the 7600... I don't feel like looking the info up now, but maybe someone else can confirm this :P

The 7600GT is an excellent card, i have the 7600GS and i can play CSS, DoDS, HL2, NSMW, and others practically maxed out.

Excactly, if you were to be a gamer right now in the present the 7600 will handle pretty much everything you throw at it. The 7900 series is just more future proof.

Thanks for the responses. I will get the 7600GT, since it's the most cost-effective choice it seems. As for my CPU, I might do some overclocking, I wont be buying a CPU for a while. Thanks guys.

7600gt performs the same as an x850xt.
the 7900gt has more pipelines and vertex shaders
and the 7600 series memory is 128-bit, not 256.
those are the major differences.
ughh got beat to the punch.
either way i bought a 7900gtx because it has 512mb of memory... and SLI doesnt add the memory up.
