I currently have a Western Digital caviler green 5400 to 7200 RPM 500 GB HD:

And I bought a 1TB 7200 Samsung HDD from newegg:

and it came with a Seagate 500GB 7200 RPM HD:

I'm going to install the 2 HDs today and I was wondering if I would clone my boot HD onto one of my new ones if my comp would run a bit faster. thx!

I'd say the Seagate HDD cause it has a faster average read throughput and a faster average write through put about 16MB over the F1

But the F1 has faster access times, but seagate is very close to the F1, take a look at tomshardware.com for more info on drive performances
