Ok well i just started playing Bf2 and was wonderin...1.how do I unlock weapons /maps or w.e

and 2.
how do i get that annoying tutorial guy off..I checked options I just could not find anything...

well u unlock weapons by playing online and getting points that accumulate until u get higher rankings. then u can unlock. there is no way to unlock maps.
 
hmmm...I checked the part in Bf2 where it shows you your status n stuff and I see that I have 0.00% on everyhing..
when I check ranked in filter NOT1 server pops is thi because there is an update or something I need?
or is it that every1 is playing on sf?
Also..how do I see fps?

You probably need to patch the game as there has been a couple patches. I beleive the most current patch is v1.12. Goto the homepage for bf2 and there will be links to download the latest patch. Also, pertaining to the stats, they do not necessarily update in realtime. Sometimes it can take minutes, sometimes hours, sometimes even days. Another note, as im sure you have seen, bf2 is a resource intensive game. Make sure you 1)have the latest drivers, etc for your hardware and 2)have minimal processes running. Good luck.
 
also, there is no way to turn the tutorial off. at least not that i know of... just have to do everything once (sometimes 2 or 3 times :\)
 
hmmmm.....I just got Bf2-SF and i tried to install it and it freezes up on..preparing bf2-sf plz wait scree..IVE BEEN WAITING FOR 20 MINS!!!!
also idk why, this is a brand new comp but im getting some heavy lagg here...
Maybe its my isp IDK but its hard...

I left the computer on the logon screen of windows xp home for about 7 hours as I went to a friends house....I com home...BOOM LAGG!!!!!
and everything is takeing forever to work...like antivirus is takeing like twice as long as it should ...internet pages takeing like forever to load..opening system properties it takeing forever to run..

I might just turn comp off for the night and see what happens 2morrow mornin....:( I was really hyped up to play Bf2 Sf but..eh...

if internet pages are taking a long time to load then thats internet related, and its possible you had malware on your computer, then after leaving you PC onn for so long it automatically downloaded lots more spyware.
 
I ran ad-aware and virus protector thing and nothing...
Btw what is malware? is it a spyware type?
