Battlefield 2 Failed to install

I'm trying to install BF2 and BF2 Deluxe Edition, and about 30% into the installation, I get an error saying "Battlefield 2 Deluxe Edition "Failed to install, try again from the beginning".

I tried searching this, and only found posts on people saying Do you have enough disk space? Which I do. And can your computer run it?



Any ideas?

I've had this game for quite awhile.. I've played it and have enjoyed, so I decided to do so again..

sorry it wont work man. usually if a game i previously had installed wont install now. i go into program files and find the rest of the old folder from the previous install and delete it

have you installed the game before or is this the first time?

It's not showing up in the un/install section or in my registry. And I've installed it before, and I may have installed it on this drive before, but I've installed it on other drives.

I just tried installing BF2 on a new drive for the first time, and got the same problem..
