Battlefield 2 on linux?

Im wondering if its possible to run battlefield 2 on linux. I was reading about the program "wine", i guess its supposed to make windows programs run on ubuntu? Has anyone ever used it? If so, is it easy to use?

Wine is fairly straight-forward. After it's installed, you'll have to right-click the file you wish to open and select 'wine' as the program to run it. It works great for most Windows apps, but some games are a bit tricky, I've heard.

To install it, open a terminal and type

sudo apt-get update

then

sudo aptitude install wine
