Battlefield 2 patch 1.5!

I have not played BF2 in along time,i have Battlefield 2 Complete Collection which includes these booster packs anyway,Do i still need that patch?

It has a lot of fixes and new maps too so I would still download it. Plus you have to run the same version as the servers.
 
I just got done playing and the patch does seem to help a lot especially on hit detection. The game loads faster and feels better too.

Where can I find BF2 to download to my computer? I tried looking on Direct2Drive but couldn't find anything.

You posted the same link I did. :P I'd be paying for the expansions that are free now. I'll probably just end up buying it in store.
 
The patch is brilliant. The new maps are spot on, especially the stuff in North America. Fixes are good aswell, shame they havent sorted the TV bug (where it 'jams'). However the black tv hud set up is way better.

Really nice to be able to take down J10's in F35's now aswell, investing in a new joystick :)

Great move making the two expansions free, i've noticed the amount of players playing bf2 has increased so dramatically. Am i the only one who thinks the TV hud feels a bit more sluggish than before? Barely noticable, and the new one's a vast improvement on the older one, just a little thing.

The improved aiming thing, that stops you being able to have 100% accuracy when you lie down, makes a world of difference, i love it! :)

I was glad to hear it finally came out
I play BF2 most of the time so yeh, this is good
I'm really liking the EU kits/maps
 
Well ive put my game somewhere....cant find it lol,I think it may have got shoved somewhere under my bed when i was movign my room around.

Il have to look tommorow.

Guys,Does BF2 run in 1680x1050 res? if iremember correctly i couldnt get it to run in that res and it looked horrible?

Yes, 1680x1050 works fine as thats the res i use.

Without the patch, it didnt even support widescreen.


Tbh i was almost 100% certain they gave up on bf2.
