Battlefield 2 patch 1.5

From what I've heard you need to install 1.41 and then 1.5 - but I have the game on steam so it's a non issue for me. Did have the retail version before and that's how it went, 1.41 and then 1.5
 
Im 99% positive you need to apply each patch individually, unless you find a package patch or something (like someone just slapped it all together). I remember doing this before, and don't think I was able to jump past a patch. Reason being that the 1.5 patch would probably modify files from 1.4, and 1.4 from 1.3...might not work out.
 
You must do them sequentially.

I have it through steam as well, so it isn't an issue for me, however someone I played with has it on disc from the day of release and went to install it a couple of months back, only to find he had hours of updating because he had to go in order. In then end he just bought it again through Steam to save the hassle, it isn't that expensive through there after all
 
I just patched 1.41 and then 1.5 which has all the boaster pack maps...worked fine. :)
 
Yup. Was just on version 1.1 and then downloaded 1.41 and 1.5 and installed them both to be fully updated! Thanks for the info people. Greatly appreciated! :)
