i just got this last night, i won it off Ebay a couple days ago, anyway what could be makin this play like shit? could it be my RAM/video card?

at the beginning, it plays that video thing great, no skips/pauses..

anybody know?

I cant believe your asking this... The FX5200 is a pretty horrible card, especially for running BF2. Not to mention you only have 256MB of RAM and a Celeron.

yea, your gonna want, a new proc, at least a gig of ram, and a new graphics card. Basically your better off getting a new computer.

I cannot believe your signature, which one of those systems are you attempting you play this game on? I'd consider either removing all unecessary systems from sig. Or post your specs each time you ask a question of this type.

Yes if that is the system you are playing it on. Pretty much explains it. You need a bit better hardware to run that game decently. Tame the settings.

calm down... noone said anything... they just stated some fact.. wich they are right about.

yeah, i know i got a Celery and a 5200...

i am either gonna get a better CPU and GPU or just try 2 unload this and get a better computer...

would it be a good idea 2 get a better CPU, like a Northwood with a higher L2 cache?

I personally wouldn't bother with upgrading further. I would just try to get a decent Athlon 64 system with a gig of RAM and a decent graphics card. Look around eBay.

ok, well i could upgrade my Dell up 2 1Gig also...

but i suppose a Athlon 64 is alot better than my system..

is that a custom build? or can i search 4 a specific computer wit a Athlon 64 and 1G RAM?

Why not take the memory from your other systems instead?

I thought you said you bought a 9600XT? You would be much, much better off with an AMD system here. Even a low-end Sempron would improve gameplay so much.

You're also hurting with just a 10GB HD.
