Hey guys! I was wondering if anyone had time to build me a gaming rig that could handle Battlefield 3 on ultra settings. My budget is about $700. I would preferably like to have all the parts bought on Newegg. Thanks a lot!

actually i had to go back to add a few parts i for got and all so it's a little more than expected, but the main culprit id the hdd, flooding in the manu's country caused a spike so ebay might be smart for that

also if you can pay the 10 i think it is, drop the cpu gpu combo and get the gpu's promo for 10 off and grab the phenom ii 960t, overclocks higher, can unlock 2 extra cores, and if you don't do that it runs a 95w instead of 125w like the others. and for another 10 more i'd recomend getting the 620w version of this psu.

that wont be maxing it out on ultra... not even close to 60fps with everything maxed out

I honestly don't think you make a comp for 700$ that will max BF3. The GPU alone is 200-400.

i said almost, it might not get full shading or aa or af, but it will get a little close, but yeah, to get close enough to maxing it would be about 900 min
