Would it be worth it to upgrade from my X1900XTX:

To an OC'ed 8800GT?

Would the performance increase justify my $300? Or should I wait until the next series of cards is released? I've been thinking about doing this since the 8800's fist came out and finally I see a card which is reasonably priced a supposedly very powerful.

The XTX is still hella powerful, unless you really want to play in Dx10, I'd personally stay my wallet for awhile. But if you really want to upgrade to the GT, both selling your current card and buying a non-overclocked version will work to bring that final reckoning down.

I would say, unless you have games you can't play due to the card. Then keep it untill the next generation of graphics
