hey, anyone seen the new bearshare? it looks sooo much better than the old one and as far as i can tell there is no spyware....
apparantly it doesnt use Gnutella any more. is this true?
and people are calling it a Legal version of bearshare, but wasnt bearshare legal in the first place? its just what people did with it that wasn't legal right?

don't install bearshare it has adware built into it. Read the EULA, you can clearly see that it states by agreeing to install the software you agree to getting advertisements sent to you. Not to mention that makes you more vulnerable to spyware attacks.

BearShare itself is not a threat; however, the free version is bundled with adware which can display advertising on the computer and can have privacy issues.
