Hey all, I havent been into the computer scene for almost a year now im really far behind in whats good whats not and all that fun stuff. I want to build a gaming computer nothing extreme but can play at most COD5. Money is kinda tight but i can do 1000 at the most. if anyone can help me figure out a build please feel free seeing as i dont know whats good anymore. Thanks in advance.

Mmm, not much. As far as I know it's older technology but won't affect a graphics card by much. Although, all recent cards use GDDR3/4/5. My old 7600GT used DDR2.

Not bad, but here's a couple problems (or things that make my list better.):P

DDR2 (as opposed to DDR3)
250GB HDD (as opposed to 500GB)
550W PSU (as opposed to 650W)
Dual Core (as opposed to Quad Core)
4GB RAM (as opposed to 6GB)
1066MHz RAM (as opposed to 1333MHz)

Don't get me wrong, It's still a good build, I just like quad core and DDR3. :)
