first of all this is my first post so hi evryone i have been looking at the site for a while and decieded to finnaly join i reealy need to get a new computer im useing a dell gx1 right now and it really sucks :(

any suggestions?

(ps i am a gammer and dont let my age fool you i know a thing or two about computers)
 
So you plan on using this for gaming? What type of games? Would you require anything else? I will assume your anti-mac as any sane person is :)
 
macs are evil lol ya i want to use amd for my procceser i know that but my wallet isint that big probebly under 500 dollers (canadian) o and i want to get a flashy case :D
 
oops, forgot that part :p if youy switch the cpu/mobo out for socket a, you could get 1024mb ddr400 dual channel for like... $85
 
Check out my old thread, i am building a $400 machine for a friend right now, which right now, it has:
XP 2600+
512mb ram
geforce 6800le
80gb hdd
dvd burner
but not a flashy case
 
With such a low budget I'd forget about anything 'flashy'.

After all, what good does it make?

i think you should look on ebay or try and make your own
if you can get a reputed dealer on ebay go for it
they have very good bto systems

if your a gamer you diffently want a amd based pc maybe a amd sempron???

k thx evryone i already kinda new that my budget was small really small but thanks aloughgt for the help evryone :) i probebly will have to look on ebay
ill probebly get alought of the stuff for xmas though
 
yes,.. get a cheap case, but a better CPU or grafics. that way, you would have a bit more flashy on the screen you know. :)
