Belkin Router keeps losing connection?

my belkin router has been losing its connection quite frequently causing me to unplug it for about 3 mins or so then re-plugging it. Its not that big of a deal but it is annoying. If I install the software and maybe update will that help and maybe stop these random connection losses?

What are you unplugging? The connection to the computer or to the modem? I know a while back our connection would have this tiny outages, causing our Linksys router to disconnect. I'd check your network drivers and router firmware; perhaps updating those would help if you're having a similar problem as I was. Or if you think it's the ISP like mine, either complain or wait and hope they get their act together.
