belkin wireless g desktop card problems

I have a linksys cable modem set up and a belkin router connected to it. everything works fine. i get wireless on my laptop and internet on my desktop. recently, i installed a belkin g desktop card in a different desktop running win 98 and it says it sees the signal, sees my network, but it won't connect to the internet. i did a ping test and these were the results, even after switching channels on my router and resetting the modem and router.

loopback -pass
ip - pass
gateway- pass
dns- pass
wan fail
heartbeat - fail
belkin- fail
yahoo- fail

Any ideas? thanks in advance for your help

you may only be seeing the LOCAL networt and not the internet. try to manually assign the ip to the card and see.

i had same problems on some computers and it was either a setting with router or drivers.
