I am looking to speed up my pc so i can play games faster what benchmarks should i get? Here is the DxDiag:

benchmarks will not help. you need a new GPU, and a faster CPU in most games.

Benchmarks are programs that tell you how well your system performs compared to other systems. It will not help performance at all.

a benchmark is a program that shows you a relative number for the performance o the processor, it is normally used to compare systems to each other so people can see who's toys are the biggest and the baddest, not sure where you got the idea that they boosted performance.

so what will boost it?

new parts, your cpu and gpu are both very old for modern games, depending on what you already have you'll at least need a new cpu and gpu, and most likely need a new mobo and ram, will end up costing 300+ on the cheaper side for a entry level gaming setup.

If you have the right parts, you can overclock them. But with your parts, you are better off just upgrading.
