benchmark question

when i first put my sys together it benchmarked at 7430 on 3dmark05 at 1024x768. well i just ran it again and it benched at 6680 at 1280x1024. does this sound right? i didnt think running it at a higher res would make a significant change this much. also do u have run 3dmark05 at the same res your display is set at?

Yes.

Oh yes the difference between 10x76 (default) & 12x10 is big.

Try 16x12.

also do u have run 3dmark05 at the same res your display is set at?

To run the benchmark, no you don't.

However to get a valid score for comparison against other systems you must use the default res which is 10x76.
