Benchmarks and the real world

Hi all. I'm new here. I'm not a AMD or Intel fanboy. I'm an old boy-LOL!
Honestly I buy-assemble to many computers. Three this year- I'm done until January :)

First computer was a top end 15-750 with aluminum case, SSD, all the good stuff. Second was a AMD 450x3 econo build- real nice but around $650, SSD, etc-onboard VGA- Asus 880 chipset.

Last was an I5-2500K- like the I5-750- higher end- around $1200 wholesale cost.
All W7P 64

The biggest disappointment was the 2500K- its only 2 weeks old but I expected a giant killer- the I5-750 seems far crisper and faster..........

The AMD 450x3 is surprising. No I'm not an AMD junky -my login was a quick way to post. I mix up CPU's yearly- like them all. The 450 has the 4th core unlocked and runs a modest 10% OC through bios on the Asus MB. Have three 120 mm quiet fans, cheap but effective TT R1 cooler- $10 and a Mushkin SSD drive, 4GB at data 2000 DDR3 mem.

This setup on the benchmarks comes off as a turtle. But in my non gaming use it is really fast and my favorite of the three. Plus it runs super cool. TT V3 case- around 13-25C depending on house temps.
Next is the I5-750- just a high end quality build- both I5's use MSI MB's.
I-5's have Hyper 212 coolers, SSD's etc.

soory, but i'm not sure if there is supposed to be a question or if your just telling us this stuff or what?
