what is the best timing for RAM . i was told by someone on this forum that this was good RAM , but is the timing the best, if theres somting better tell me

and if the numbers are lower , does that mean the timing is faster

and what is CAS latency ?

That's probably up there with as good as it will get but the price and voltage on that stuff is silly. Going from CAS3 to CAS2 on DDR400 improves perfromance maybe 5-8%. CAS4 to CAS3 on DDR800 will do even less.

If you want to know what the timings are, it's covered in RAM101. Personally, I don't think that RAM is worth the price but if you want it, that's your choice.

I don't know of any better timings at that speed but faster pretty much always beats 1 step slower RAM with better timings. For example DDR2-667 @ 3-3-3-10 performs worse than DDR2-800 @ 5-5-5-15

4-4-4-12 is a good timing for 675Mhz RAM I think?
