What you guys think it is? I have a 9800Pro right now on a Asus NF7-S Motherboard... looking to do cheesy upgrade to make gaming a bit easier.
7800GS i think is what it was called... its basically a 7900GT but AGP
well, like i said, its a Gainword 7800GS or a 7900GS or something for AGP.... it has a 7900GT core... its about 8% less fast then a PCI-e 7900GT
Okay only way to recomend something is to have a price preference...

First of all, 7600GS is not high end card.Just to let you know, I have the x850XT PE for AGP, and I love it. It plays games much better then my 7600GS used to (obviously), and I get similar scores in 3DMark when i'm comparing it to my friends 7800GT.
Yes I think it is twice as good, but when you compare video cards you need to look at benchmarks, not at that site you posted. These are just user rating.

If you unlock it does it's name change to x850XT PE ?
The X850XT (PE) can be hard to find for AGP. An X850Pro would be a good alternative. Also unlockable, cheaper than a 6800GS and a better performer as well.
Did you have the AGP or PCI-E version?Actually not all x850pro's are unlockable. I have one that didn't![]()
