Best AGP card

X800/X850XT's are better than an x1600 Pro and better than the X1600XT...but the 7800GS beats them all if you can afford it.

Most x850PRO cards can be unlocked to x850XT PE, which is what I did. That makes those cards even better for the money.

The 6800GT/Ultra are decent, but not as good as the x850XT PE or 7800GS.

just kidding,. trust Omega on this one.. the x850pro/XT(PE) is one hell of a card.
well.. maybe not in today's terma anymore.. but its still very decent :)

hehe, my card can actually play almost all the games maxed out right now at 35+fps :D

Super mario Bros? :P well.. i can immagine its good.. I think Quake 4, Fear and Oblivion for example cant be runnned maxed out on it :) ( just a guess out of the blue tough... dont slap me if im wrong :D )

I don't have any of those games, so I can't say, but I play CSS, DoDS, and HL2 maxed out with a minimum of 40fps, and I can play Flatout 2 maxed out @ 60, CoD2 near maxed out around 30-40.

I can play oblivion on med/high settings with decent fps with my locked x850pro w/ 12ppl.

actually from reviews alot of ppl have run those games just fine with the x850pro. Seems like a decent and not overly expensive card that if overclocked can match the 7800gs

As he already said, the most common is taking an AGP x850PRO, flashing it with the x850XT PE BIOS, and then it unlocks the 4 extra pipelines and raises the speeds.

I was able to do it with mine, and it's shown a huge increase in performance.
