No Phenom is worth upgrading to from a 955 these days. So which one did you have and what one is most stableIf you wanna go with a 6-core processor you can get the X6-1055T. It's not unlocked though so you can't overclock it as easy. The 1090T is an unlocked hex-core thou
You can use your graphics cards, PSU and SSD in a new build with an Intel 1151 socket or an AMD AM4 socket once AMD release their next generation CPUs later on in the year. I wouldn't buy a new AM3 board now, it seems like a waste of money.
