Hi,

I've just got a 3D ready monitor with the intention of getting nvidias 3D vision. Il hopefully beusing it for 3D movies and 3D gaming. Games will include the new test drive unlimited.

Which of the cheaper 3D graphics card would be best for the money?

Also would i need to upgrade any of my other hardware to use it?

AMD 5200+ 2.6 x2
Asus Crosshair motherboard
2gb 800Mhz ram.

Thanks,

Fred.

To get 3D at any sort of decent quality you need to be on constant 100+ fps or very close to, that is the reason you need a monitor with 120MHz refresh rate. Depending on what games you play, pretty much all of your computer will need to be upgraded if it is modern games

Unfortunately he's right. 3D gaming is one of the most intense things you can do in games today. To do that smoothly you're going to need more than a 5200+ and 2 gigs of DDR2 :( Not to mention that you're probably looking at another significant investment in a gtx580. 3D doesn't come cheap sadly.
