I want a computer for mild multimedia stuff and one that can handle a big load. I'm sick of my 3 year old dell, 512mb ram, 30gb hd, 1.7ghz computer. I would like an amd computer around 3800+ or 4200+. 1gb ram, 2gb plus. 200gb hard drive. An O.K. GPU. I would like new components that won't get outdated soon. Cool case would be a plus but not requirement

I would really appriate if you could help.

This computer wont get outdated fast at all, except maybe the GPU, but thats an easy upgrade

The 1 GB stick is for easy upgrade to dual channel so you wont have 4 sticks of 512 or 3 sticks. The GPU is fine and can play all games on medium-low at least and is an easy upgrade. Core 2 Duo is the best CPU no doubt. The Case is very solid and the PSU can easily support all this.
