best computer for animation

Hi

I work in 3dmax, flash and after effects..
I want to get a new computer pc but not sure what is the best for what i use it for..
Can anyone give me some feedback on what I need to get so it performs well..

After installing all my software and the big file made from using these programs it tends to slow my computer down..

Are you interested in building one or buying prebuilt? Building will get you better performance for your money and is easy as legos. What's your budget?

That's a pretty good system for that price, but the price is gonna go way up since it's being bid on. Spec wise it's pretty solid. I'd encourage you to build your own machine though, you'll get a lot more performance for your money.
 
That kind of spec would be ideal. You definitely want an i7, an NVIDIA graphics card and at least 16GB of RAM for those kind of programs.
