Best controller for couch use

Well for FPS = Keyboard and Mouse unless you play console ports which have auto-aim setup for controller use. Other wise you will be at a major disadvantage vs KaM.

So id look into a wireless solution or get a 360 controller for windows (can come wireless for $40 controller + receiver) on Amazon.

Hey thanks for the replies. I have a Logitech Dinovo Edge blutooth keyboard , would this be good to use with it's build in scroll pad?

ALso I have a couple PS3 bluetooth controllers, but no Xbox ones. Would they work as good as the xbox ones ( I see that there is a hack to make it work )?

I've got a 360 controller that I love for gaming on my comp, would definitely suggest getting one. For me it's also nice because a lot of my friends have 360s so when I go over to their houses I can bring my controller for multiplayer games.

There are ways to use the PS3 controllers with the computer if you have a bluetooth connector on your PC. Your best off with an actual mouse and keyboard for FPS, touchpads generally suck for gaming.

It's Nice, but I like the Off-Brand one (MadCatz) Even better for PC. Of course, it's not wireless, though it does have a long cord.

I have never been a real fan of MadCatz. Any off-brand controller I have bought has had cheap feeling buttons. Just not as crispy feeling as a stock PS controller, Xbox controller, etc. Also, the joysticks feel rougher. I guess I am just spoiled on the stock controllers.

I've read that people are pretty happy with the xbox 360 Wireless Controller.

I use my 360 controllers on my PC. It works pretty well for a few games. I don't recommend it for FPS or RTS though.

i agree....a pad wont do very well at all against you on your pad vs the other guys using their mouse on FPS games....unless your super fast with the controls they are going to own you ever time because its simply more accurate and quicker with a mouse and keyboard.

Imo a pad is only good for everything other that FPS...
