Best FREE Html editor software?

Im looking for an HTML editor to make a site but i dont know any. Suggestions?

If you want it to be free, go with notepad++
I haven't used the others mentioned above so I can't recommend them.

There are so many tools. But i often use notepad++ which is free.

And from the above references sublimetext is also looks fine.

Haha. Do people actually use Dreamweaver? You really just can't go wrong with Notepad++. I'll use it over notepad even when I just need to read/write a plain text document.

But there's C-x M-c M-pancakes for that, and if I want a lot of them, I can just use a macro...

Emacs here too, it's probably the most full featured editor (you can even have a fairly dumb conversation with it) and none of the fluff you get with WYSIWYG "editors".

You do need about 15 hands to use it though.
