Just wondering you guys expert opinions on this? I have the monitor already, I'm just looking for the CPU, trying to stay under $600. Probably the most intensive game I would play would be X-Plane, the flight simulator. Okay, thanks in advance for the opinions.

Yeah, sorry. I would be useless at building a computer on my own. By "CPU" i mean a unit you would buy fully assembled in a store. Thanks.

CPU = Central processing unit...

PC = computer lol

ide go with cyberpower... get at least a 2.2 ghz and a HD 4650 or ATI 8600

As for D-Sub, I would imagine it comes with an adapter (or it may not even need one)

However, have you considered building yourself?
I would highly recomend it. You'd save some money, learn a little bit, have more fun, and get a higher quality computer. Its not as hard as it sounds. Everything just smoothly fits in only one hole. Theres plenty of tutorials to walk you through it and you can always ask the members here for help.

If you were open to the idea, we could help you pick out the best parts for your money. ( i have to go to bed right now though)

Hey, yeah i've looked at some of the tutorials. My main thing would be not knowing what parts are compatible, etc., or doing something wrong and have a bunch of expensive parts that are now paperweights.

Might be something I have to look further into though. Let me ask you this:

That computer I linked to, could that be built with the same parts for less money, if i did it myself?
