best gaming joystick?

what is the very best gaming joystick? as in best performance, durability, most buttons and stuff but also positioned well, with most customization. so which would have the best balance of all of those and be the most all around best one? and dont bring price into it either, im simply looking at ability not cost, unless its $1500 or something retarded lol
 
It depends on what you are looking for. I had a Saitek x36 for a long time, it was fantastic. I'm considering getting an x52 (the x65 is far too expensive) to replace it now that gameports are no longer supported.
 
one really cool thing i saw was in a hobby shop, they had like an actual ejection seat from a plan, and a 6 monitor set up, one for like the front veiw, 2 of the more upper sides, 2 more lower sides and the back view, and a joysitck between your legs and it had rudder pedals and everything, i wish i could remember what flight sim they had up too cause it was so fun
