Best Gaming Laptop

I'm going to college, and I want the best gaming laptop that isn't rediculously overpriced. I'd like a top of the line computer that can compete with my desktop I just sold (8800 gt, e8500, 4gb ram etc.)

Toshiba has a nice gaming laptop series, specs are in my sig.


It has two 8600's and amazing speakers, mine was $1500.



Don't be sucked into the Alienware fan boys, either.
 
^^ very important don't buy from alienware. They are outrageously overpriced. I just had a fired get a PC for 5k with dual 8800m GTX's, and the thing only got like 12k on 3dmark06. There's some nice one's on newegg like the Toshiba g4m3rof1337 mentioned.

And I don't think they make an 8800 GT for laptops, could be wrong though.

No, I don't think they do, it also depends on your budget, like a single 8800GTX may be expensive, but then they have a 9600 in a laptop.



I am not entirely sure, but I believe that two 8600's equals an 8800GTS, don't quote me on that though.
